Leonard Rustan served overseas in 1944 with 440 Squadron of the R.C.A.F. on Tactical Service in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.
Len Rustan from Dryden is in the front row, arms folded and a big grin. This RCAF crew was in charge of this Hawker Typhoon, a low-level ‘tank buster’

Len came home safety and in August 1947, he married Verna Pollard.
Together, in 1949, they started the LenVer Inn.
They had four children; Valorie, Garry, Marilyn & David.
He passed away 19 October 2016
