The Laura Howe Marsh was packed Saturday for the first event of Dryden’s inaugural Fall Fest.
More than 860 people showed up for the free and family friendly ‘Harvest Hay Day.’
Roughly 302 kids went through the Treat Walk.
Lead organizer Laina Smith says it was an amazing day.
“The weather held out for us. It was beautiful. All the vendors, all the volunteers, everyone did an amazing job.”
Smith says they were able to successfully host the event and abide by COVID-19 health regulations.
“Everyone, for the most part, followed our restrictions and our protocols. Everyone was a trooper and I can’t be happier with how it went.”
On deck is the ‘Laura Howe Haunt’ this coming Saturday.
Smith notes “It’s going to be a good time. Make sure that everyone who is attending is over 13 years old. It’s going to be a spooky time and I can’t wait to see everyone there.”
