Dryden’s mascot ‘Max the Moose’ is officially taking part in the mandatory mask order that went into effect today.
Dryden resident, Tammy Chandler came up with the idea to make Max his very own mask.
“Over the last couple weeks I’ve noticed a lot of people taking photos with Max and I thought pretty soon all of Dryden supposed to be wearing masks. I felt that Max being our mascot should be representing us and he should have one too.”
The effort was made by Chandler, her sister Teanna Sheridan and their Mom.
“We came here one night with a measuring tape and eyeballed it, hoping that it would work out. It took about 7 hours total to make.”
The Dryden Fire Service helped wrangle the mask around Max Monday afternoon
Spoiler alert if you haven’t already drove by Max, it fits!
