There are plenty of fun events planned this long weekend with quite a few starting Sunday.
From 10am to 3pm on Sunday there will be Slate Falls Air float plane rides.
It costs 20 dollars for an 8-10 minute flight and masks will be required if you plan to take part.
The flights will be taking place at the Slate Falls Air Base at 29 Wellington Street.
The Sioux Mountain Music Festival will also start on Sunday.
Due to COVID-19 concerns the event is being held online this year from 3pm to 10pm.
The event will feature tons of talent including local area bands, northern bands, Thunder Bay performers, Nick Sherman, and other solo performers as well.

The Blueberry Festival Triathalon is also back for another year, but there are some changes.
The swim, bike and run will be taking place on separate days and there will be no mass starts and will take place on their designated days from 9am to 3pm.
The swim will be taking place Monday, the biking follows on Wednesday and the running will be on Thursday.
Participants can participate in any of the parts that they want or do all three if they wish to as well.
