Two local residents face multiple drug related charges following a traffic stop on Highway 17.
Provincial Police stopped a vehicle within City limits last Thursday afternoon.
Officers seized 1,090.81 grams of crystal Methamphetamine, 1.41 grams of crack cocaine, 4.31 grams of heroin, ten Oxycodone tablets, 135 tablets of hydromorphone, 52 tablets of various prescription medications, a firearm with ammunition, Canadian cash and drug related items.
The estimated street value of the crystal meth is $217,000.
OPP say 30-year-old Benjamin Fumerton of Wabigoon has been charged with:
-Three counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-Heroin
-Possession of a Schedule I substance-Cocaine
-Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
-Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a prohibited or restricted weapon
-Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Police say 27-year-old Wade Wetelainen of Wabigoon Lake First Nation faces:
-Three counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-Heroin
-Possession of a Schedule I substance-Cocaine
-Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
-Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a prohibited or restricted weapon
