The Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital is now working on its 2020-2023 Strategic Plan.
Officials will be turning to patients, staff, partners and the public for feedback on new goals, targets and priorities.
President and Chief Executive Officer Sue LeBeau says the strategy will give them a new direction.
“It guides our decisions. It helps us set goals and milestones, to measure how we’re doing against those. It guides decisions around purchasing, hiring, evaluation and so forth. And it get’s us all rowing in the same direction.”
LeBeau says public consultations will be held October 29th and 30th at the Heritage Centre.
LeBeau says their looking for input in a number of areas; “What are we doing well? What can we do differently? What do we need to continue, start, stop doing? What should be our priorities given the changing environment around us?”
She stresses they will ensure their plan will reflect the needs of Red Lake and the entire region.
