Marney Robinson was born in Dryden Ontario to loving parents Enid and Gordon Wood. She is survived by her siblings Liz Schmidt (Ken) and Barry Wood (Karen).
Marney had a very full life – never able to sit still for long, she lovingly raised two daughters, Lisa (Keith) and Jodi (Mike), volunteered wherever she was needed, went back to school as an adult to complete a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social work, and yet still managed to find time to garden and make her famous butter tarts upon request.
She lived for the two “T”s – travelling and playing tennis – any chance she could get.
She spent her life helping others with a smile and a wonderful laugh. She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends and took good care of them all.
She was a special, loving nanny to her 3 grandchildren, Maddie, Cian and Simon, who will miss her dearly.
Her daughters would like to thank Marney’s friends and family for their constant love and support. She cherished you all and loved her time with you.
She will be lovingly remembered always.
