Registration for Science North Summer Camps across northwestern Ontario is now open.
The sessions for those aged 4 to 11 start in July in various communities including Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake, Kenora, Fort Frances, Atikokan and Thunder Bay.
Marketing Specialist Julia Aelick says they are trying to get science out in smaller northern communities in Ontario.
Aelick says the fun and interactive camps focus on a number of areas including space, nature, engineering and technology.
She adds there are girls specific programs this year.
Aelick says they are just trying to get science education out to younger audiences sooner than later, just so they can explore what they are in to.
You can register online 24-hours a day and for more information, visit www.sciencenorth.ca/camps or call 1-800-461-4898 from 9am to 4pm eastern time
