The Sasquatch have claimed their first ever Sioux Lookout Hockey League title.
The Sasquatch launched a third consecutive, third period comeback in a 5-3 win over the Slate Falls Airways Otters last night to sweep the Championship series.
Cole Skandeberg potted the game winner at 6:04 of the final period and Brandon Stanley added an empty net marker.
Keith Lawrance scored all three goals for the Otters.
League organizers Matt Cairns and Joe Cassidy would like to thank the league’s timekeepers, referees, volunteers and players for a great season.
