A sudden change at the top of the Dryden Fire Service.
Deputy Fire Chief Cora MacRae has assumed interim Fire Chief duties.
She takes over from Ryan Murrell.
No reason has been given for the change and the City of Dryden says no further statements are being made at this time.
Murrell took over as Fire Chief on August 23rd, 2017, replacing the retired Ken Kurz.
He was in the middle of a major re-shuffling of services at the Fire Department.
