A “spoon full of sugar” is being offered up at Dryden High School.
The Dramatic Arts Association is hosting the Mary Poppins Broadway Musical from April 4th to 6th at the Gordon Wood Auditorium.
Ted Mitchell, Kennedy Cook, Chris Maua and Bennet McLeod were all guests on the CKDR Morning Show Tuesday to promote the show.
Mitchell says their production is slightly different from what you are used to.
He says you get to see a “deeper and darker” side of Mary Poppins and the way she wishes to teach her lessons.
Mitchell says the show includes a take on some of the popular songs and he is promising some great and exciting surprises.
Cook is playing the iconic nanny and she says it’s an exciting opportunity given that this is her Grade 12 year.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children and are available at DHS, Kano Reid or at the door.
