The Dryden Drag Racing Association is back with another round of snow machine races.
The first race is Saturday, January 19th in front of the Flying Club.
Organizer Laura Zajarny was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Wednesday to promote the event.
Zajarny says there will be two new classes:
Youth
-120/200
-Junior 1 (12-13yrs, 500cc limit)
-Junior 2 (14-15yrs, 600cc limit)
Other races:
Stock (No studs. Classes Stock 500, Stock 600, Stock 700, Stock 800, Stock 900, Stock 1,000)
Stock (Studs. Classes SS 500, SS 600, SS 700, SS 800, SS 900, SS 1,000)
Improved Stock (Classes IS 500, IS 600, IS 700, IS 800, IS 900, IS 1,000)
Pro Stock (Classes PS 500, PS 600, PS 700, PS 800, PS 900, PS 1,000)
Vintage (Pre 1989 Model Year)

Boosted Improved
Boosted Pro Stock
King of the Show (Open class)
Queen of the Snow (Open class)
The event is open to anyone interested in racing.
The cost is $20 per race and you MUST have ISR Insurance to compete.
Zajarny says there will be a canteen at the races run by the Dryden Eagles Girls High School Hockey team.
She is hoping for a big turnout of both racers and spectators.
Zajarny adds they are still in need of volunteers and high school students can earn their hours for graduation.
