The Dryden Regional Health Centre continues to put the finishing touches on its Master Facilities Plan.
Chief Operating Officer Robert Van Oort says the strategy uses regional data and trends to determine what upgrades the hospital should make in the next 5 to 15 years.
Van Oort says an outside company comes in and reviews all of their information on patient numbers and demographics and incorporates that in the master plan.
He hopes to have a final report completed in the next five months.
Van Oort says it is a proactive approach to see what needs the hospital should address sooner rather than later.
