A new, yet familiar face has joined the Dryden Police Service.
Kim Rothlisberger has been sworn in as a police constable.
Rothlisberger started her police career in 2011 as a dispatcher and later on a Special Constable in Dryden.
In 2014, she attended the Ontario Police College and was hired by Treaty Three Police to work in Grassy Narrows First Nation.
Rothlisberger was born and raised in Dryden and is excited for her new role.
Chief Doug Palson says he’s excited to have her on board, noting one more hire is expected shortly.
Palson says both are local, young, energetic and more than excited to work with Dryden Police.
He notes the new additions will bring them back to a full compliment after some retirements and police departures.
