Kenneth Ray
1924 – 2018
In loving memory of Ken Ray, age 93 years, who passed away at his residence in Princess Court on February 5, 2018.
A forestry contractor in his early working life, Ken also worked as a farmer, for Dryden Paper in the bush and for the Department of Highways. Ken was a veteran of World War 11 serving in the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve from March of 1942 until June of 1944 receiving a medical discharge. He lived in this area for all of his life.
Ken is survived by his son Robert Ray of Dryden, daughter Gloria Dafoe of Nanoose Bay, BC, son Richard Ray of Winnipeg, by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service and interment will be held a later date.
