The shots just weren’t falling for the Dryden Eagles Girls High School Basketball team Saturday.
The Eagles ran into an aggressive defence and didn’t get the bounces in a 70-19 loss to the St. Ignatius Falcons in Game 2 of the NWOSSA championship.
Mandy Tourond led all Dryden scorers with six points.
The Thunder Bay champions will now represent the North at OFSAA later this month in Huntsville.
The Eagles finish the season with a silver medal.
