Louis Toussaint (June 18, 1927 – October 19, 2017)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Husband, Father, Grandfather & Great Grandfather, Louis Joseph Maurice Toussaint on October 19, 2017.
Louis lived to celebrate his 90th birthday with his family. What a celebration we had! Louis lived life to the fullest & insisted that we all do the same. He embraced his family in his loving arms. Through his teachings, we all lived and shared a fulfilling life with him.
Louis is survived by his loving wife Theresa, with whom he shared 30 years. Her children, daughter Della, husband Glenn, grandson, Kurtis & great granddaughters, Kamryn & Kendra, granddaughter Tanis, husband Bill & great granddaughter Rowan. Son Brian & wife Nicki.
Louis was predeceased by his first wife, Winnifred Madeleine Toussaint, his parents Amedee & Edith Toussaint, 12 brothers & sisters, & numerous members of the Marion/Krieger family.
Louis is survived by one sister Germaine Toussaint. His children, son Jean Guy, wife Deanna & grandson Nicholas. Daughter Francine, husband James, grandson Steven, wife Michelle, great grandson Dorion; granddaughter Cheri, great granddaughters Claire & Julia; granddaughter Marla, husband Derrick & great granddaughter Veruca. Daughter Angeline, grandson William, wife Cherise; grandson Cameron, wife Danielle & great granddaughter Lilianna. Daughter Corinne, husband Jerry, grandson Christoper, wife Christal; granddaugther Kari, husband Daryl & great grandsons, James & Jackson; and his best friend & granddaughter Caitlin.
Louis is also survived by niece Liz Lundstrom, husband Bill & their daughters Blaire and Trisha; His “adopted son” Keith Blanchard & wife Wendy. Numerous other relatives & friends also survive.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Dryden Community Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 11:00am at the Dryden Community Funeral Home with Father Alan Campeau officiating.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to Dryden Regional Health Centre or a local charity of your choice, through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
