There may be a bit of a clean-up needed Thursday following a strong wind storm that came from the prairies and blew through northwestern Ontario.
Winds topping 70-kilometres an hour sent debris flying and made visibility poor at times with dusty conditions.
There are several reports of the wind damaging homes and business, ripping off sidings and roof tops.
The Red Lake Fire Department had to respond to the Norseman Inn to help clean up signifcant wind damage.
No injuries are reported.
The wind is also blamed for a significant power outage in a large area south of Pickle Lake.
Some 700 Hydro One customers in the New Osnaburgh area are without power.
Pickle Lake is also without power.
Hydro One hopes to have power restored early this afternoon.
The wind will die down Friday and the weather will warm up with highs of 20 over the next couple of days.
