More tension on the Thunder Bay Bombardier picket line with accusations by the union that the company broke the strike protocol.
Unifor spokesperson Dominic Pasqualino says it happened when the company tried to move a finished rail car out of the plant through a different exit that was legally agreed to.
But the company’s Spokesperson Stephanie Ash says the union was given proper notice noting the company is within its right to move the car out.
The move appears to have upset the union because Ash says a planned meeting between the two sides to discuss negotiations was cancelled by Unifor.
