Warren Mathew Parenteau
November 18, 1965- December 17, 2016
Warren Mathew Parenteau, 51, of Dryden Ontario, peacefully took his last breath on December 17, 2016 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with his beloved children by his side along with his sisters and brothers.
Warren is survived by his sister; Judy Trudeau Parenteau, brother; Alfred Parenteau, sister; Donna Parenteau, eldest daughter; Kayla Wabonge, daughter; Gina Wabonge, son; Eli Napish, son; Mathew Jackson Parenteau and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Warren “Toppy” was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all. Warren has joined his beloved parents Minnie Parenteau and Fred Parenteau in heaven.
Warren also liked to be called “Toppy”. He lived in Northwestern Ontario most of his life, it was home for “Toppy”. He was proud of his four children and he loved sports. He was a very good hockey and baseball player. He enjoyed sports so much that he was always betting on his favourite teams. His favourite hockey team was the Edmonton Oilers, his favourite baseball team was the Toronto Blue Jays and his favourite football team was the Vikings. Warren was loved by many and had a lot of friends far and near, young and old; he had quite the humour.
A special thank you to the Dryden Regional Health Centre and the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for their loving care and support. Also thank you the Dryden Community Funeral Home for all of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held December 20, 2016 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the Eagle Lake Community Hall. A Traditional Service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Elder Robert Kelly officiating.
Interment of ashes will be at a later date.
