The Dryden GM Ice Dogs waited until the third period to finally find their legs in a 7-5 win over the Thunder Bay North Stars Friday night.
The Ice Dogs erased a couple of two goal deficits and stormed back with five third period goals.
Trey Palermo was the hero scoring the teams sixth shorthanded goal of the year.
Luke Bellerose extended his points streak to seven games with a goal.
Wyatt Lawrence, Jacen Bracko, Eric Stout and Chris Atanas found the back of the net.
Bryce McDonald scored his first SIJHL goal.
Dryden GM ended up outshooting Thunder Bay 42-38.
The rematch is Saturday night at 6:30 and CKDR will have the call.
