The Dryden GM Ice Dogs and Red Lake Miners will both be shorthanded when they return to the ice on the weekend.
The Superiors International Junior Hockey League is out with a handful of suspensions following a late game scrum between the two teams last Wednesday.
The hardest hit is Matthew Pitchenese, who received a ten game ban for an out-of-crease collision with goalie Zach Willms.
Reid Manning and Curtis Magas have both been ordered to sit two games, while Dryden GM will be without head coach Kurt Walsten for a pair of contests.
Evan Pakkala will miss one game.
For Red Lake, Ty Lawrence and Shay Sommerfeld have both been suspended two games, while Michael Di Lullo and Cole Bohnet will each miss one game.
