Sharon Loraine Betker was born on July 16, 1944 to her parents Stanley and Evelyn Miles in Dryden, She was raised and spent her childhood years in Eton Rugby Township. Later on in life she met Al Betker, and they were married on June 6, 1964. They had two children together, a son Darren, and a daughter Rhonda. Sharon lived life to the fullest, and was very proud of her family which always came first in her life, in particular her grandchildren Micheala and Donaovan, lovng them bothl very much. She thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and it’s natural beauty. When not going for extended walks with her dog, she could be found at home crocheting. The warmth and beauty of her home which she helped Al design and build is so peaceful and serene in it’s park like setting on the lake. The decorating of this home which Sharon did herself, reflects the love and pride she held for it using her own tastes. Sharon was well trained in the care and assistance for the elderly. She worked for a period of time at Patricia Gardens. Subsequently she went on her own to be a home care worker for many seniors in the Dryden area. She was loved and appreciated by everyone she cared for. It cannot be stressed enough that her family was her love and her life, and she was loved and adored by them in return. Sharon passed away on Wednesday December 12, 2001. She’ll be sadly missed by all who knew her.
