Two days of fishing came to a thrilling end for Dryden’s Scott Gardner and Dean McDonald! Not only did the pair land the biggest walleye of the tournament, a 10.26lb lunker, but they won the 12th annual Red Lake Fall Classic championship by almost 5 pounds AND set a new tournament total weight record!
After a stong finish Saturday, bringing in 19.24lbs of walleye, McDonald and Gardner brought in 21.46lbs on Sunday for a tournament total of 40.70lbs – the first time in the tournament’s 12 year history a team has weighed in over 40 pounds over the two days.
