A history making season for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs continues.
For the first time in franchise history, an Ice Dogs goalie has been named top SIJHL Goaltender of the Year.
Patrick Zubick edged out Michael Lenko of the English River Miners and Ryan Buttazzoni of the Thief River Falls Norskies in a highly contested contest.
Zubick led the league in goals-against-average at 2.30 and save percentage at .931.
He was second to teammate Ben Dennis in wins with 20.
The 20 year-old is also 11-2-1 since January 1st and has won six in a row.
