For the first time this season, the number one offence in the SIJHL was neutralized as the Dryden GM Ice Dogs fell 2-0 to the visiting Thief River Falls Norskies Sunday night.
Norskies goalie Brock Lefebvre was once again brilliant, finishing with 36-saves for his third shutout of the year.
This is the first regulation loss on home ice for the Ice Dogs in a year.
The difference of the game was a penalty shot awarded to Thief River Falls late in the first, with Alex Daman cashing in.
Dryden GM is now seven points back of the undefeated Norskies.
