Those interested in learning more about our armed forces are being encouraged to make the trip to Kenora.
The Canadian Army Reserve Open House is Saturday and Master Bombardier Lynn Danielson says they really just want to engage the public.
Danielson says the open house gives people an opportunity to talk to local solders about their experience as well as ask questions about a potential career.
She notes they always have job openings for anyone over the age of 16, stressing there is no age limit.
The open house runs from 10:00am-3:30pm at the Northwest Ontario Army Reserve.
Danielson says there will be several weapons displays and they will also showcase some of their equipment.
