Some families of missing and murdered Indigenous women and children are speaking out against the $53-million federal inquiry set up by Prime Minister Trudeau.
John Fox is the father of 13-year-old Cheyenne Fox who was raped and murdered in 2013.
He says the commission is making a mockery of the inquiry and stresses they aren’t going to tolerate it anymore.
Fox notes the inquiry is hurting their families.
Others claim they have not been able to get access to the financial support and legal help they were promised.
He stresses they’re prepared to set up blockades if necessary.
The Chief Commissioner involved in the probe concedes mistakes have been made.
