The Wynne government is quick off the mark in implementing one of its Throne Speech Commitments.
The drug program OHIP Plus will make prescription drugs free to anyone 65 and older beginning August 1 of next year.
That removes any deductible or co-payment seniors now pay, making over 44-hundred medications available to them at no cost.
OHIP Plus has been in place for anyone under 25 since the beginning of the year.
