Dryden’s new council is ready to get the ball running.
Newcomers Roger Valley and John Carlucci as well as returning Councillors Ken Moss, Martin MacKinnon and Mary Trist were sworn-in Monday night.
Carlucci says it’s been a lifelong dream of his to be on council.
He says he didn’t have the time before, but he’s now ready to step up to the plate and do good things for the city.
Carlucci says debt reduction is his biggest priority and hopes to get the city back on track financially.
He adds that having an all-inclusive council is important to him too.
Newly elected Councillor Norm Bush wasn’t in attendance, but will be sworn in December 8th.
