The Dryden Fire Service has released its 2016 year end statistics.
Firefighters responded to 231 incidents last year, up from 169 in 2015.
The average response time was just over six minutes and Chief Ken Kurz says that is a normal number.
The total dollar loss values for the year were over $574,000, while the value saved was $300,000.
The report also shows firefighters safely logged more than 3,200 hours during emergency responses and more than 3,400 hours completing training and equipment checks.
