Ontario College students won’t be returning to the classroom.
Faculty have voted against a College contract offer, prolonging a labour dispute that is into its 32nd day.
Confederation College says faculty have exercised their democratic right and they respect their decision.
Officials say the College Employer Council’s bargaining team will be in touch with the provincially appointed mediator to seek his direction to the parties.
Confederation College stresses they still intend to provide their students with the opportunity to complete their academics.
Premier Kathleen Wynne says she will meet with college and union representatives today to discuss how the situation can immediately be resolved.
She says she is looking at all options, but is hopeful that an agreement can be reached.
