It wouldn't be a May long weekend in northwestern Ontario without rain!
Bill Laidlaw of Signal Weather Services says a low is coming up from the southwest that will move right up the Lake Superior shoreline, bringing grey clouds and rain starting Saturday afternoon.
Laidlaw says the rain will continue overnight into Sunday morning.
Holiday Monday is expected to be overcast and cool, with a raw north wind.
The Red Lake District is expected to miss the system.
