It’s a reminder to be aware of all the hunting rules before you head out. Two southern Ontario men have been fined a total of 27 hundred dollars for party hunting offences. Court heard that one of the men hunted a bull moose about 30 kilometers southwest of Ignace when his friend with the valid tag was over eleven kilometers away from him. It is only legal to hunt within 5 kilometers of the person who has the tag. Jack Heimbecker of Paris, Ontario was fined 900 dollars and Terry Charlton of Guelph was fined 18 hundred dollars.
