A Dryden man escaped serious injury following a motor vehicle collision Sunday morning.
Dryden Police were called after a vehicle hit a lamp standard on Highway 594, west of the Duke Street Bridge.
The driver told police that the passenger side wheel broke loose, causing the vehicle to veer off the road, clipping the standard and hitting the guardrail.
Police say after speaking to the driver, he was found to have been drinking.
Martin Kellar has been charged with failing to provide a breath sample.
Kellar will appear in court August 18th.
