Dryden High School has finished recognizing its highest academic achievers.
An Honour Roll ceremony was held at the Centre Wednesday for students attending Grade 11 and 12 last year.
Amy Wickstrom was one of the individuals recognized and she says it’s important because students today face several distractions and challenges and stresses it’s not easy to achieve at the highest level possible.
Wickstrom also offered advise for new high school students.
She is telling them to manage their time properly.
Wickstrom recommends don’t get too far behind in your studies, but don’t get overwhelmed to the point that you are ineffective.
She is also suggesting that you still do the things you enjoy like athletics, but take some time on trips to do some homework on the bus.
