Wasaya Airways is acknowledging the findings of a Canadian Transportation Safety Board review of a fatal plane crash on December 15th, 2015.
The company says the loss of Captain Nick Little and flight 127 near Pickle Lake can’t be undone, however they can learn from the event and take every precaution to make certain that it never happens again.
Officials say they have enhanced and implemented safety procedures based on the findings and stress changes to their flight operations department and aircraft loading and maintenance procedures have been made.
Wasaya adds improved cold weather and icing training for crew has been implemented.
The TSB found that ice build-up was the direct cause of the crash and that the plane should not have been in the air at that time.
