The Dryden Native Friendship Centre is celebrating the opening of a newly renovated second floor.
The addition includes a large meeting and conference room, a kitchen, youth gathering area and a cultural room.
All programs and services in the new space are geared towards youth, with staff on hand to provide support and mentoring.
Executive Director Cheryl Edwards says they will be conducting traditional ceremonies and healing in the future.
Other programs on the second floor include the “Healthy Kids and Healthy Living” initiative and justice programs.
Edwards says the space is also equipped with free Wifi for youth for school work, employment or just socializing with their friends.
