A handful of after school programs in northwestern Ontario are benefiting from a provincial investment.
The Wynne government is spending 13.5-million dollars this school year.
Some of that funding will be used to support programs now in place in Kenora, Rainy River, Atikokan, Thunder Bay as well as the remote First Nation of Kingfisher Lake.
