Despite what you may have seen around Dryden the last few weeks, there has been no change to the water restrictions.
Some residents have been wondering why crews have been flushing hydrants when they can only use water outdoors every other day.
Director of Engineering Brad Johns says the seasonal task is necessary to maintain the quality of the water and to abide by provincial rules.
The flushing has been completed for the Spring season and will be done once more this Fall.
