A fishing outing north of Sioux Lookout has netted a group of southern Ontario men a $3,600 fine.
David Gallagher of Toronto, David Griffiths of Barrie and Gordon Harrison of Leakside have pleaded guilty to possessing fish that were packaged so the number couldn't be easily counted.
Harrison was also fined for possessing two walleye over the legal limit.
Conservation officers stopped the three men last October on Vermilion River Road.
An investigation determined the men were returning from Slate Falls and had been hunting and fishing while working in the area.
Officers found several bags of uncountable frozen and skinned fish.
