Kenora taxpayers are facing residential tax hikes this year – but not as high as their Dryden counterparts.
Kenora City Council has approved a residential tax increase which ranges from as low as 1.5 percent in the Kenora Ward to as high as 7.4 in the Jaffray Malick Ward.
Commercial ratepayers are facing an increase of just under one percent.
Dryden taxpayers were hit with a 9.5 percent net tax hike two weeks ago.
