Two community projects are set to receive funding from the Moffat Family Fund.
Dryden Council has selected the Dryden Food Bank and the Making Connections for Children and Youth program as the recipients for funding totaling $55,000.
(Food Bank-$29,500; Universal Recreation for Children and Youth-$25,500)
The youth initiative provides assistance for children looking to register for sports, camp and other activities.
They still need to be rubber stamped by the Winnipeg Foundation.
Funding requests for the Dryden Public Library and a new CT Scan Unit at the Hospital didn’t make the final cut.
The mandate of the Moffat Family Fund is “to support and advance the social, physical and intellectual well-being of children and families”.
