Acting Northern Development and Mines Minister Bill Mauro says the province is now investing more than $190-billion into infrastructure over 13-years.
Mauro believes this will lead to significant highway upgrades in the region.
He’s expected to release more information Friday afternoon at 1:30.
Meantime, Mauro believes Bombardier in Thunder Bay may be reap the rewards of a budget announcement.
The province has announced more light-rail transit for southern Ontario.
Despite the delays in delivering LRT cars to Waterloo and Toronto, Mauro notes they may have a shot at these new contracts.
