A Vermilion Bay area man has been slapped with a $2,000 fine after pleading guilty to two counts of unlawfully causing the placement of a structure.
Court heard that sometime between May 1st and May 31st, 2016, Robert Wisneski had docks constructed and placed at two locations within Eagle-Dogtooth Provincial Park.
He did so without contacting the local Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry office and applying for the proper permits.
