The Provincial Tories are expected to turn their attention from the partys leadership race to budget cutting today.
Premier Mike Harris has called a special caucus meeting to find ways of trimming billions of dollars in government spending.
Finance Minister Jim Flaherty has siad the projected budget shortfall for the next fiscal year will be somewhere between one-and five-billion dollars.
There seems to be general agreement that spending wont cut things like health care, education and the environment.
But Flaherty suggests all other government programs are on the program.
