Provincial Police are stepping up recruitment efforts in northwestern Ontario.
A day-long policing symposium is taking place next Saturday in Kenora.
Sergeant Jen Nolet says they’ll be running through a lot of information in their morning and afternoon sessions.
Officers will be in attendance speaking about themselves, their careers, and how they transitioned to life as a police officer.
There will be a fitness and mental component to the symposium.
It takes place on September 30th at the Seven Generations Institute and pre-registration is required.
