The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board held its annual election of officers.
The board has acclaimed Barb Hancock as Chair for a second term.
Hancock says she had to think long and hard before accepting the nomination.
However, she felt it was important to have continuity and she had unfinished business to attend to.
Longtime trustee Bill Dawes was chosen Vice-Chair replacing incumbant Ed Arnold.
Meantime, the Northwest Catholic School Board has elected its officers.
The Board has elected Dryden resident Wade Petranik as Chair, and Gerald Rousseau of Fort Frances has been named Vice-Chair.
