Two o’clock Friday afternoon is the deadline to file your papers for the October Municipal elections.
In Dryden, Mayor Greg Wilson is seeking re-election but is being challenged by former Mayor and current Councillor Roger Valley.
In the mix for Council include incumbents John Carlucci, Norm Bush and Martin MacKinnon.
They are joined by Jason Owen, Michelle Williams, Darton Dudley-Rennie, Bill Latham, Richard Jonasson, Catherine Kiewning, Shayne MacKinnon, Corrie Trist, Michelle Price and Dave McKay.
For the second straight election it will be Doug Lawrance and Dennis Leney going toe-to-toe for the Mayor’s seat in Sioux Lookout.
Lawrance unseated Leney in the 2014 vote.
Jason Bailey has also filed his papers for Mayor.
Running for Council include incumbents Donald Fenelon, Yolaine Kirlew, John Bath, Joyce Timpson and Cal Southall.
Ronald Bird, Debbie Baker, Darlene Angeconeb, Joe Cassidy and Cory Lago have also filed their papers.
Six Council seats are available in both Dryden and Sioux Lookout.
