A number of students at Dryden High School have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement.
A small ceremony was held at the Centre Monday for Grade 9 and 10 students who finished on the honour roll last school year.
DHS Principal Richard Hodgkinson says it’s important to give credit where credit is due.
Hodgkinson says these students made the decisions, commitment and sacrifices needed to reach the highest level possible.
He calls it a building block to their graduation and their future vision.
Hodgkinson notes the school is trying to instill a positive vision of the future for all students.
He notes today there are a lot of distractions and these students have persevered to concentrate on keeping their grades at an elite level.
